Polynucleotide Injections

Polynucleotide injections are a regenerative skin treatment that utilises natural DNA fragments to promote skin repair, hydration, and overall rejuvenation. They are designed to stimulate collagen production and restore a youthful, healthy appearance.​​​​

These injections are used to improve skin elasticity, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, enhance skin texture, and increase hydration. They are also effective for treating areas affected by aging, sun damage, and environmental stress, providing a revitalizing glow.

Polynucleotides are a fantastic treatment to target under-eye circles, fine lines and hollowness.

Results from polynucleotide injections typically become visible after a series of treatments and can last up to 6-12 months. For best results its is advisable to have two treatments 1-2 months apart and then maintenance treatments every 6-12 months thereafter. 

Downtime is minimal. Some patients may experience slight redness, swelling, or mild discomfort at the injection sites, which usually resolves within a few hours to a couple of days. Normal activities can generally be resumed immediately.

The undereye area has thinner skin than the rest of the face and minimal subcutaneous fat. This means the injected polynucleotide fluid takes longer to absorb and small lumps are visible immediately afterwards and can take up to 3 days to fully settle. 

Polynucleotide injections are generally well-tolerated with minimal pain, though it varies depending on individual and the treatment area. Discomfort is often described as mild stinging sensation. Numbing cream is applied before the treatment to make it as comfortable as possible.

Side effects are uncommon but may include mild swelling, redness, or bruising.
